Our Wine Adventure Destinations directory is taking shape! If you haven’t already taken a look, click here to view over three dozen entries with useful information about winery tasting rooms, restaurants and other fun places to visit in Napa Valley, Sonoma County, Lake County, Lodi and other wine country locations. I’ve sipped or dined at each of these destinations and will be adding many more to the directory as time allows.
Use the directory to plan a wine country visit or to find a tasting room or restaurant on-the-fly. The inspiration for the directory came when a free smart phone app I used to find that one last tasting room still open near the end of the day was discontinued. The directory is smart phone and tablet-friendly and entries can be viewed as a list, grid or plotted on a map as shown below. Find destinations fast by searching with a key word, location or destination type (tasting room, restaurant, etc.). The first line in each entry shows hours of operation, just in case you’re in a hurry to find a tasting room still open nearby – as I often am. I also provide why I recommend each tasting room, such as “great red wines,” view or other special feature.
I hope you will take advantage of the directory and share wine adventure destinations of your own (see below).
