Hours: 11am – 9pm every day
Why go: Reasonably-priced, great tasting chicken sandwiches and salads with simple, excellent desserts in the San Francisco East Bay.
Plucked Chicken and Beer opened about a week ago in the Crow Canyon Commons shopping center on the southeast corner of Crow Canyon Road and I-680 in San Ramon. The ambiance is casual dining with a simple menu and a focus on quality. There are chicken sandwiches, salads, two desserts and – remarkably – a selection of draft beers that nearly out-numbers food items on the menu. There is also wine: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and more.
Plucked is a fun destination for quality, organic chicken, beer, wine and whatever else on the menu floats your boat. There are several large screen TV’s showing sports, plenty of seating and a healthy merge of sports bar vibe and family-friendly casual dining. Prices are affordable at about $10 average for a chicken sandwich and salads around $13. Staff is friendly and the ability to order at the counter or at the automated kiosk make it a fun place to stop for a quick bite or to relax and enjoy the game.
Order online for pick-up and delivery.
Plucked is operated by the same people who brought Sauced BBQ & Spirits to Livermore, Sacramento, Petaluma and Walnut Creek.
