Our November Featured Wine Destination is BR Cohn Winery. Located just north of downtown Sonoma on Sonoma Highway (Highway 12) in Glen Ellen, the winery escaped major damage during the recent wildfires and is open for business, though you will pass several communities that lost homes as you drive north from Sonoma.

The winery produces a wide range of varietals, from Riesling to Cabernet Sauvignon. They also offer their own line of olive oils.

Tasting room is open 10am to 5pm daily. Walk in or call ahead for big groups.

BR Cohn Winery was founded by Bruce R. Cohn, manager of the Doobie Brothers band since the 1970’s. The winery was sold in 2015 to Vintage Wine Estates in nearby Santa Rosa. Other notable Vintage brands: Clos Pegas, Cosentino Winery, Swanson Vineyards, Delectus Winery.
