Our September Featured Wine Destination is Elizabeth Spencer Winery, conveniently located on the corner of Highway 29 and Rutherford Road in Rutherford, Napa Valley. The quaint brick cottage that once served as Rutherford’s post office is still the point of entry for visitors, but expanded tasting venues now include an open space with shaded tables along Rutherford Road, the garden cottage, an open garden area capable of hosting larger groups, and The Studio – an indoor tasting area. Tasting room hours are 11am to 5:30pm daily, walk in or call for reservations.

The tasting menu always includes one of the widest ranges of wines offered in Napa Valley. Whether you lean red or white in your tasting preference, you’ll find high quality wines across the board. Current releases include Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Cuvee Blanc, Chardonnay, Rosé of Grenache, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, half a dozen versions of Cabernet Sauvignon and a red blend they call The Reverend.
