September kicks off something new in Wine Adventure Journal – our Featured Wine Destination of the month. First up is Round Pond Estate in central Napa Valley, a favorite place to taste for two reasons – great wine and beautiful views. Schedule your visit well in advance – tastings are by appointment only and the popularity of this tasting room means their schedule is often full.

Round Pond produces excellent wines from Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc, though red and white blends and other single varietals are also well worth a visit. Round Pond operates an olive oil mill across the street, which also offers tours and tastings.
