Our November 2019 Featured Wine Destination is Sonoma County, California. As the Kincade Fire is being brought under control (click Kincade Fire Status for the latest from CalFire), many businesses have power back on and are re-opening!

Beautiful Lynmar Estate in Sebastopol is one of the Sonoma County tasting destinations that has announced they are again taking reservations.

Visitor patronage is vital to the economic stability of Sonoma County and to the businesses that operate its tasting rooms, restaurants, hotels and other destinations. If you have plans to visit the area – don’t cancel them yet! Check with your destinations to confirm they are open. If you don’t have plans, consider making some. Steady winds have cleared the air in most areas and as I write this, CalFire estimates the Kincade Fire is 65% controlled. Communities that had power turned off to reduce the risk of starting new fires have had power returned and many Sonoma County wine country destinations have announced they are back to operating at full schedule.
