Our November Book Of The Month is “go-to dinners” by Ina Garten, a barefoot contessa cookbook, with great recipes for throughout the holidays. The holiday season follows harvest in most regions, which means an abundance and wide variety of fresh ingredients are available to make your dinners special. Great photography makes some of these recipes appear intimidating because the result looks so fantastic, but most are actually very simple.
The book overall reads almost like a journal documenting the adventures of a cook and her crew. Many of the dishes have interesting stories and the breadth of drinks, foods, and – of course – desserts, provides a wide range of options when developing your dinner menu.
