National Hot Dog Day celebrates one of the great American foods that you can buy at ball parks, in restaurants and on street corners. Over 25 million hot dogs are sold at sports stadiums each year, probably because they are easy to prepare, easy to customize with chosen condiments, and one of the easiest foods to eat whether sitting or standing.

The National Hot Dog and Sausage Council initiated National Hot Dog Day in 1991 and it is celebrated on a Wednesday each July during National Hot Dog Month. Enjoy!
