Russell’s Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey – Single Barrel is produced by the distillery known for creating Wild Turkey. The original distillery began operations in 1869, when the Ripy brothers started producing Kentucky Bourbon in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. That bourbon was eventually branded as Wild Turkey, which today remains a popular and respected bourbon whiskey with international distribution.

In 1954, Jimmy Russell became the head distiller and continued refinement of Wild Turkey. In 1981, Jimmy’s son Eddie joined the distilling team, eventually forming the first father-son team of Master Distillers. In 1998, Eddie selected the finest barrells to bear the label Russell’s Reserve.
