Producer: Acquiesce Winery & Vineyards is located in the Lodi region of Northern California. Growing conditions in this area are very similar to the Rhône region of France, which is why Acquiesce produces mostly Rhône style white wines.
Description: 100% Picpoul Blanc. 12.5% alcohol by volume (ABV). Picpoul is a relatively uncommon wine grape found mostly in the Loire Valley and Rhône regions of France.
Vineyards: Acquiesce estate vineyards, Mokelumne River-Lodi AVA (see map below).
Production: Aged 6 months sur lie in stainless steel.

This wine is for those who enjoy: Chilled white wines that pair well with fresh fruit, salads, seafood, and hanging out on the patio sipping wine on warm summer days.
Appearance: Bright yellow with tinge of green.
Aroma: Fresh apple, pear, and wildflowers.
Taste: Balanced acid/sugar, dry, some on our tasting panel commented that Acquiesce Mokelumne River Picpoul Blanc is similar to a cross between un-oaked Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
Finish: Balanced and smooth.
Pairing: Versatile – salads, light meats, seafood, spicy Asian dishes.

Acquiesce Winery & Vineyards is located on the edge of Lodi, California and welcomes visitors to its comfortable tasting room Thursday through Sunday from 11am to 5pm (subject to change). Walk-ins are welcome, recommend calling if you have a large group – (209) 333-6102. Despite being a small lot producer, it is one of the most popular tasting stops in the Lodi area.
