Our Wine Of The Week is 2017 McKahn Family Cellars Sonoma County Viognier. If you like Viognier, you’ll love this expression of the grape sourced from Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley. Like most RRV white wines, McKahn’s Viognier is crisp and clean with well integrated aromas of ripe stone fruit and spring flowers. A fine sip on its own in Fall or Summer and well suited for pairing with creamy Jarlesberg cheeses, shellfish, Asian curries and spicy chicken dishes. Alcohol 14.1%. $32 retail.
Visit the McKahn Family Cellars tasting room in the heart of Livermore, CA wine country (see map below) to try this Viognier and their other fine Rhône varietals.
