Our Wine Of The Week is 2018 Sequoia Grove Napa Valley Chardonnay, a crisp expression of Northern California cool climate Chardonnay. Sequoia Grove Winery has long been known as a leading producer of premium Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and more. They also produce two vineyard-specific and one Napa Valley Chardonnay.

If your preferred style of Chardonnay is crisp, refreshing and smooth with a hint of citrus, this Sequoia Grove wine is for you. Serve slightly chilled and pair with any light dish. Alcohol is moderate at 14.1% and the price is right at about $32, so I’m stocking up.

The Sequoia Grove tasting room on Highway 29 is a great place to enjoy a tasting flight or food & wine pairing experience among the tall trees (see map below). Reservations required.
