Our Wine Of The Week is 2019 Hartford Court Russian River Chardonnay. The Russian River region of Sonoma County, California, yields Chardonnay that is often easy to distinguish from wines produced nearby in Carneros, Napa Valley and other Sonoma County and Northern California AVA’s. There is a pleasing minerality and strength of flavors that make our Wine Of The Week a great summer sip or excellent food pairing for hearty summer meals. You’ll get some flowers and earth on the nose, with subtle stone fruits, lemon and apple on the palate. Aged nine months in French oak, but not an “oaky” wine.
