Our Wine Of The Week is Ledson 2016 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc. Sampled during a recent Wine Adventure at Ledson’s tasting room in Kenwood (look for another post later this week on that) and then sipped again a few days later at base camp, this Sauvignon Blanc has the perfect balance of orange, grapefruit and peach that maintains its excellence regardless of whether its served chilled or very chilled on a warm day.
One of several great summer wines we’ve tried this year that goes well with food or is fine to sip alone. 13.5% alcohol, $36 retail at the tasting room.
