Line 39 2016 Excursion Red Blend CaliforniaOur Wine Of The Week is Line 39 2016 Excursion Red Blend, a blend of Petit Verdot, Petitie Sirah, Zinfandel and Merlot grown in the northern San Joaquin Valley region of California (Lodi area). 2016 is the inaugural release for Excursion, which joins Line 39’s family of $8-$15 varietals that include Cabernet Sauvigon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Petite Sirah, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinto Grigio.

Excursion delivers on taste with dark fruit, spice and subtle hints of cocoa. An excellent sipper for holiday parties that also pairs well with beef and lamb dishes. Alcohol is 13.5%.
