Our Wine Of The Week is Orrin-Sage 2014 Pinot Noir, Sonoma County. This is a big Pinot Noir with many characteristics found in bolder varietals, including black cherry and chocolate. Very smooth on the palate with a velvet finish. I opened it to breath for a few hours, bringing out soft floral notes. Alcohol is moderate at 14.2%. Retail: $48.99. Sip alone or pair with hearty meals.
