Our Wine Of The Week is Round Pond Estate 2015 Proprietary Left Bank Blend. If you like Bordeaux blends, you’ll love Round Pond’s excellent Napa Valley contribution to the genre produced from their Rutherford vineyards. They’ve captured a great balance with 54% Merlot, 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Petit Verdot aged eighteen months in new French oak. Lots of back cherry with hints of strawberry and floral notes, smooth. Drink now or let it sit a few more years.
