Our Wine Of The Week is Round Pond Estate 2016 Reserve Sauvignon Blanc. If you’re looking for a relatively-hearty summer refresher, this Sauvignon Blanc provides a cool sip with depth. Round Pond, known for their outstanding estate-grown Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon, has over the last few years become one of the top producers of Sauvignon Blanc in Napa Valley. The 2016 Reserve is a blend of 75% Sauvignon Blanc and 25% Semillon aged in oak and stainless steel. Wild flowers and orange blossom on the nose, followed by tropical fruits, peach and melon. Serve moderately chilled. 14.2% alcohol. $45 retail.
