Swanson Vineyards 2017 Rosato Napa ValleyOur Wine Of The Week is Swanson Vineyards 2017 Rosato Napa Valley. If you’re still stocking up on warm weather sips, this is a great cooler that sips fine alone and compliments both light summer bites and full entrées of light meats and fish. The wine is made from Sangiovese grown in the Atlas Peak district, a mountainous area known for producing grapes with concentrated flavors. Light floral aromas precede hints of cherry and watermelon with a touch of lemon. Alcohol is 11.9%. $24 retail at the tasting room.

Produced by Swanson Vineyards in Rutherford, just off Highway 29. For more about their tasting room, click here: Swanson Vineyards destination listing.
